About

Eric Kiekeben is a documentary filmmaker and photojournalist based in Columbia, Missouri and Columbus, Ohio. He has worked for news outlets including the Columbia Missourian and the Sioux City Journal.

For his career, Eric strives to produce documentary video and photo coverage of international issues. His first major experience with this was as a sophomore in college, through the film "I Would Have," which resulted in a contest win at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival.

He also has experience with marketing photography and videography through his time producing visual content for clients such as the Mizzou College of Health Sciences, the Mizzou Honors College and the Missouri School of Journalism.

Eric is a rising senior Honors student at the University of Missouri School of Journalism, also receiving minors in French and geography.
