Hannah Schuh ruffles her hair for the camera in a Columbia, Mo. studio on Sept. 16, 2024. Schuh has been dealing with changing hair types over the past several years. "When I was little, my hair was super straight like my mom and my sister, so as I grew up and it got curlier, my mom didn't know what to do, and it looked horrible. I'm starting to learn more about how to actually take care of it and how to make it look decent, but I'm still working on it," Schuh said.
